Match products across research suppliers
Record the fields that decide whether two offers describe the same material before comparing price.
The matching worksheet
| Field | What to record for both offers |
|---|---|
| Identity | Complete product label and any documented identifier; not only a marketing nickname. |
| Form | Salt, modification, standalone material or full blend composition. |
| Amount | Selected amount and unit, per container and across the package. |
| Evidence | Original report URL, sample identifier, methods and date. |
| Availability | Current selected option and supplier terms. |
| Delivered cost | Final merchandise amount, applicable offer, shipping and tax. |
Examples from the PEL catalog
- CJC-1295 without DAC: do not compare it as a DAC formulation.
- Wolverine: 10 mg TB-500 plus 10 mg BPC-157 means 20 mg combined, not 20 mg of each component.
- NAD+: keep NADH, precursors and distinct forms separate.
- Pelhcgenix: IU-labelled quantities do not convert to mg using a generic factor.
When to leave the match unresolved
If either supplier’s identity, formulation or report relationship is unclear, record the gap. A “not verified” state is useful: it identifies the exact question to ask before substitution.
